Clinical Pilates
Discover the transformative power of Clinical Pilates at Prana Physiotherapy & Health. Our experienced Physiotherapists offer tailored clinical pilates classes in our state of the art Crows Nest Exercise Studio.

Before starting Clinical Pilates classes, all patients (existing and new) must attend a 1:1 Initial Assessment with one of our pilates-trained Physiotherapists. This comprehensive assessment allows our Physiotherapists to take a thorough history of your health and injuries, provide a 1:1 instruction of foundational exercises and Pilates specific techniques, run you through the safety precautions to use the various equipment, take objective measurements and assess your biomechanics and create a tailored exercise program. The program will be based on your goals and current fitness level.

Whether you are in a private, duet or semi-private class, new to Pilates and exercise, post surgical or a athlete looking to improve your health, you will all be working towards your individual goals with your personal exercise program.
Once you have your assessment, your physiotherapist will recommend either further 1:1 sessions or classes depending on your injury and fitness level. Every 3 months, 1:1 review assessments are required as part of the process, where the Physiotherapist and you work together to review your treatment plan, reassess objective measures and update and progress your program as needed.

At Prana, we strive to work as a team to achieve the best for our patients. If you are having concurrent physiotherapy or exercise physiology treatment as well as participating in our Clinical Pilates program, your treating clinician will frequently liaise with your Instructor and together they will assess your progress and determine the best management plan for you.
Our state-of-the-art studio is equipped with cutting-edge Pilates equipment, allowing you to improve core strength, balance, and control. We recommend that you attend one to two classes per week for optimal results. Start your journey towards improved strength, enhanced stability, and a healthier, more active life.
