Valerie is the proud founder of Prana Physiotherapy & Health. She has a strong vision to empower patients, particularly those who struggle with chronic and complex conditions. Valerie strives to provide a warm, professional and high quality practice for both her patients and her team of physiotherapists. Valerie and her team work closely with other medical professionals as well as educators and researchers, to provide holistic, evidence based care to our patients and community.
With over 18 years of experience, Valerie has developed a special interest in complex musculoskeletal conditions, including neck, shoulder and back pain, pre-and post-surgery, headaches, tinnitus, facial pain and TMJ complaints.
Valerie graduated from the University of Sydney with a Master of Physiotherapy. She has a Bachelor of Exercise Physiology from the University of New South Wales. Valerie has worked in both hospital and private practice, treating a range of conditions including sports and workplace injuries.

Valerie is a Credentialled McKenzie Therapist with the McKenzie Institute International and has a Diploma in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy. She held a director position on the McKenzie Institute Australia and participates in research programs with affiliated Universities. Valerie holds Probationary Faculty position with McKenzie Institute International, teaching professional development courses to Physiotherapists and medical professionals in Australia and New Zealand.

Valerie is trained in advanced dry needling, Clinical Pilates and the development of exercise programs to support rehabilitation and return into work, sport or leisure activities.
When Valerie isn’t in the clinic you can usually find her spending time with friends & family, at the beach or walking with her whippet Winnie.
